Mission Statement

Wild River Review is a regularly updated online magazine committed to free speech, multi-cultural exploration, cutting edge news coverage, and timeless themes. Wild River Review provides a forum for dialogue between writers, artists, scientists, musicians, poets, and readers to foster connection and understanding between and within cultures. To that end, we work with and support talented artists — emerging and well established — in every genre.

Just as the currents of a river flow and change so do the currents of language and ideas featured on Wild River Review’s pages. We showcase in-depth journalism, essays, stories, poems, reviews, comics, artwork, and profile innovative thinkers from around the world. In our “First Bylines” section, we publish emerging writers’ and artists’ works, giving them much-needed bylines to help launch their careers. In addition to regular international columns, we host bloggers whose frequent posts encourage our magazine’s spirit of conversation.

Wild River Review is the creation of a team of professional writers and artists who are skilled editors in the genres of short and long fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and comics. Our team seeks out work of the highest caliber, through solicited and unsolicited submissions, for our growing audience of readers.
